Smart Church Solutions is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst that is passionate about helping churches fulfill their missions. Our eSPACE web application continues to grow as it provides facility and event management tools to churches and other organizations. We are a virtual company, so while there will be no commute, you’ll need to have a distraction-free place to work remotely.
The Quality Assurance Analyst will play an essential role in ensuring our product meets high standards of reliability and usability. This individual will collaborate closely with developers, customer stewardship, and other team members to ensure all aspects of the software function seamlessly.
Responsibilities
- Manual Testing: Execute comprehensive manual tests across various features, covering functional, regression, and acceptance criteria.
- Automation Development: Develop and maintain automated test scripts for routine testing scenarios, contributing to efficient and repeatable testing processes.
- Collaboration with Development Team: Work closely with developers to understand project requirements and identify potential quality issues early in the development cycle.
- Test Environment Management: Assist with the setup and maintenance of test environments, ensuring they closely mirror production conditions.
- Documentation: Thoroughly document test cases, procedures, and outcomes to ensure clarity and reproducibility of testing efforts.
- Staging and Production Release Testing: Ensure deployments to staging and production environments have been successfully completed by performing validation testing in those environments.
- Process Improvement: Regularly assess and refine QA processes to improve overall efficiency, coverage, and effectiveness.
- Bug Validation: Collaborate with the Customer Stewardship Team (CST) to validate bug reports, ensuring precise issue tracking and resolution.
Qualifications
- Experience
- Software quality assurance, with a proven ability to execute both manual and automated testing.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and QA best practices.

- Familiarity with test automation frameworks and scripting.
